Florence · Renaissance Beauty

Emerging from the breathtaking Tuscan countryside, our first stop was the captivating city of Florence. It exudes a distinct charm and atmosphere that sets it apart from the two destinations we had previously visited, Paris and Tuscany.

Being a huge fan of Italian leather, Han couldn't resist indulging in a shopping spree. He treated himself to a fantastic leather jacket from Benheart, and I must say, it looked absolutely awesome the moment he put it on! Additionally, we ventured into a charming vintage jewelry store where Han found a stylish pin, and I discovered a pair of adorable earrings.

The leather jacket has Han’s initials on it, can’t say no to personalized items, lol!

The rest of the day was spent exploring the town, unintentionally passing by the same place at least three times before finally finding the perfect spot to settle down. It was a day filled with shopping, wandering, and a few comedic detours, but overall, it was a memorable and enjoyable experience.

La Ménagère · dinner in a flower vase

In preparation for our trip, I made a reservation at La Menagere several weeks in advance after hearing about its reputation as a stunning restaurant. True to its word, the ambiance was undeniably beautiful and romantic. What caught my attention was that they also had a variety of homeware and books for sale, adding a unique touch to the dining experience.

While the food at La Menagere was enjoyable, I must admit that it didn't leave a lasting impression. Although it didn't quite reach the level of impressiveness I had anticipated, the overall experience of dining in such a charming setting made up for it.

Here’s a few from our hotel stay at Florence, it’s close to the train station and we get to see the cathedral :)
