Venice · Finding Triangel
After securely and conveniently storing our luggage in a nearby locker, we began exploring the city on foot. We dedicated a whole day to our visit before our departure for Milan. A full day proved sufficient to explore the main island thoroughly, excluding excursions to nearby islands like Bueno. We also utilized water taxis (or is it called water canoes) along the way to facilitate our access to certain areas of the island, rather than taking the longer route. The water taxi fare cost 2 euros per person and swiftly transported us across the river.
During our stay, we indulged in several delectable culinary delights and successfully visited all the places on my must-see list, thanks to the ample time we had. We’ve visited:
🧁 I Tre Mercanti - the best Tiramisu in town. I saw their review on Tiktok and always wanted to try it. They had a seasonal special of pistachio flavour, which is my fave.
🍦 Suso Ice Cream Shop - the ice creams are so good! It’s the perfect Italian gelato that we were hoping for.
🍝 Pasta & Pasta - a local pasta spot that many people visits. We were lucky to get there at 11 AM and only waited 15 minutes for our pasta because a line started to form at around noon. All of their pasta is freshly made, and you get to pick the type of pasta noodle, the sauce, and the toppings. It’s more like a fast food type of restaurant, so there was no seating area. The pasta was so cheap and I finally got a chance to try their squid ink pasta!
